Jennifer Brown is running for the McLean County Board in District 9 to bring common-sense leadership to McLean County with a focus on our community's core needs, Jennifer looks to:

Meet Jennifer

Jennifer Brown and her husband of 15 years, Tony, live on the south side of Bloomington with their children, Jacey and Liam, and their two pets, Charlie and Shailene. Jennifer is a proud alumna of Illinois State University and has been a McLean County resident for nearly 20 years. She is a Category Manager in Procurement at State Farm, where she’s worked for almost 11 years— where she sees firsthand how smart planning, fair contracts, and treating people with respect make organizations stronger.

Jennifer has valuable experience serving in local government, where she served four years on the City of Bloomington’s Technology Commission. She is also strongly devoted to our community, from leading successful projects like the Harmony Park inclusive playground to chairing one of the region’s biggest charity events with the -Normal Jaycees. She's also served on the PTO boards at Cedar Ridge and Evans Junior High.

Ensuring our county budget is balanced and transparent. Jennifer is committed to putting in the work to identify ways to ease the property tax burden on families and seniors without sacrificing essential services.

Prioritizing access to critical mental health services and ensuring our law enforcement and first responders have the resources they need to keep our neighborhoods safe.

Smart Economic Growth

Supporting our local small businesses, addressing the housing shortage, and investing in infrastructure to attract good-paying jobs and manage growth responsibly.
